A small village just to the west of the farm, with a general store, a petrol station and mini-market, and a Post Office. We're ideally placed to host guests attending weddings at nearby Winton Castle, around two miles away — and don't miss the chance to eat at The Winton, beautifully refurbished and serving a menu full of great Scottish produce.

Glenkinchie, a small hamlet just south of Pencaitland, is home to Glenkinchie Distillery — one of the Four Corners of Scotland distilleries of Johnnie Walker. Tours are available, and advance booking is advised to avoid disappointment.

Stroll along the River Tyne, taking in the wildlife and beautiful views of St Mary's Church, the longest parish church in Scotland. Learn its history at the John Gray Centre, or book a tour of Lennoxlove House just outside town, which houses an interesting art collection as well as Mary, Queen of Scots' death mask.

A bustling harbour town with clean sandy beaches, independent artisan shops, a gallery, restaurants and cafés. Several world-renowned golf courses sit in and around North Berwick, including the Renaissance Club and Archerfield. View the iconic Bass Rock and visit the Scottish Seabird Centre as you wander the harbour.

With its rugged coastline, historic fishing industry and beautiful beaches, Dunbar is the sunniest place in Scotland. The High Street is packed with shops, cafés and restaurants, and down at the harbour you'll find the ruins of Dunbar Castle. Belhaven Bay is a wide sweep of golden sand for surfing and paddleboarding, while Foxlake Adventures offers wakeboarding, ringos and the UK's first ropes course over water.
